Smart Place Seminars

The DIZ Smart Place Seminars is a series of thought leadership and knowledge sharing events that aim to bring together key speakers on a specific digitally related topic to inform and consult with local organisations directly affected by that topic. This can include service delivery organisations, commissioning authorities, funding agencies and technology suppliers as well as interested local influencers and place shapers.

To date the DIZ has delivered seminars on topics from collaborative working to digital infrastructure, from digital skills to health and social care, and from the opportunities to future-proof brand new garden towns through technology to digital inclusion and enabling the voluntary sector to maximise the benefits of digital.

Always free to attend and often sponsored by key local partners and private sector supporters, the seminars are informal yet informative and are an excellent opportunity to meet like-minded, digitally engaged organisations and businesses from around the DIZ. Each seminar includes a workshop session during which delegates get the opportunity to get under the surface of the key issue and talk through their ideas for the application of digital in their sector.

You can download copies of the executive reports from all of our seminars below or go to the Resources Section where you will also find some of the presentation resources delivered at the seminars.

See the Events section for more details about our past and forthcoming seminars.
